Well, then a lil’ story by Terilekst.
,,I remember I was biking to a studio in Amsterdam (I was living in Amsterdam 2002 – 2005) to record my verse. When I arrived I met ShyRock (RollaRocka), DJ Moola & Extince.
I was very excited to meet these Dutch Hip Hop legends in a studio and I also had to rap my verse. I witnessed Extince recording his verses for ‘Kutklusjes’.
I did my verse, 2nd time I kicked it, the door of the booth was slammed open by all three of them looking euphoric and telling me yeah that’s it!”
,,Why did I rap in German?
In 2001 I won a battle in Ede (my hometown). One of the freestyles I did was in German. Because my opponent D’Mon was kickin shit in English while I was kickin it Dutch. So I was like alright lemme also kick another language (And I could speak German because of living in Germany from 1990-1994). The jury panel was LTH & Skate the Great.
Later I heard Skate told Extince I was ill in German.
I coincidentally met Extince in front of the Melkweg (Amsterdam) where he told me yo ima call you for my new album!
A year later I was spittin my verse.”
